Qingdao Community Development Center for Facilitators
Qingdao Community Development Center for Facilitators (Qingdao Facilitators) was registered with Qingdao Civil Affairs Bureau in 2016. It is an AAAA rated NGO and was awarded 2021 China Charity Model. As encouraged by the local civil affairs department and scholars, Qingdao Facilitators was established to offer professional social work services to grassroots NGOs and people living in difficulty, replicating the work model of Beijing Social Work Development Center for Facilitators. We are engaged in service innovation, as well as professional support to grassroots NGOs. While supporting migrant workers and their children, we have also been promoting development of NGOs and social workers in response to the need to build a professional social worker team for social governance in Qingdao.
By 2022, Qingdao Facilitators has made great efforts to offer diversified services of 1,464 times, including help to migrant workers living in difficulty, parental education and community education. These have helped to raise the living conditions and development possibilities for migrant workers and their children to help for their social inclusion. Qingdao Facilitators has also been supporting development of professional social work services in Qingdao, through pilot social work projects, monitoring and evaluation of government procurement projects and innovative projects on street level support centers. Qingdao Facilitators has been recognized as AAAA level NGO and has been awarded Annual Philanthropy Model of China (Year 2021). The social work stations operated by Qingdao Facilitators have been included by Coordination Project under the guidance of the Charity Promotion and Social Work Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and coordinated by the Chinese Society of Social Work, contributing to the construction and development of social work stations nationwide.
