Mr. Tao Li is the pioneer in the field of social work service to migrants and grassroots NGO development in China. He first started to work on well-being of migrant workers in 1996. Mr. Li brought years of professional experience working as journalist and executive editor when he led the Facilitators team to start providing services with the guiding philosophy of “creating strength through cooperation and helping people help themselves”. The service model has subverted the main stream society’s perception of migrants and grassroots NGOs in China and pushed for progress in cooperation between governments and NGOs. Mr. Li is also Standing Council Member of China Association of Social Workers, Member of the National Social Work Professional Certification Evaluation Committee, Trainer for National NGO Training of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China, Expert on Child Affairs of the State Council Working Committee on Women and Children (SCWCWC), Member of China Expert Group of Global Civil Society Evaluation Committee (School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University), and Top Ten Community Leader by the Beijing News.

Ms. Li is a worker turned NGO leader. Her career in journalism began in 1997 and she later became Executive Editor of Migrant Women, the first magazine dedicated to rural Chinese women seeking employment in cities. As co-founder of Facilitators, she directed the team to build the localized social work service model and achieve its leading position among NGOs. Ms. Li also participated in the initiation of Nanjing Facilitators and Zhuhai Facilitators. She is Invited Researcher of the Social Work Research Centre (Ministry of Civil Affairs of China), Member of the National Social Work Standard Committee (Ministry of Civil Affairs of China), Member of the Committee of Beijing Youth Federation, Top Ten Social Worker of the Year (2013), and Model for Young People of Beijing.
Ms. Yang Daimao

Ms. Yang joined the non-profit sector in 2008 with experiences in the business field and participated in initiation of Zhuhai Facilitators. She later became Executive Director for Zhuhai Facilitators. She is an experienced project leader working extensively with enterprises and NGOs, with successful projects like the construction of open non-profit service center in an industrial park project and the sunflower social work growth project for migrant workers. The team she led in Zhuhai Facilitators had zero staff turnover in such a difficult working environment for eight years.

Ms. Liu Qian joined the Facilitators in 2009 as an intern and grew into a member of the management team. Ms. Liu has rich experiences in frontline services, project management, team management and cooperation. She led the third-party operation team of Beijing Facilitators for Beijing Social Organization Development Center, a platform delegated by Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau to support more than 4,000 NGOs in Beijing .
Ms. Lu Jinyan

Ms. Lu Jinyan joined the Facilitators in 2006. She is a social work service expert and is called “all weather social worker” as she can run services in different environments. She is in charge of the Friends of Facilitators monthly donation project.
Ms. Wang Lihong

Ms. Wang Lihong started with the Facilitators in 2007 as frontline social worker and later began to work on community development project and policy advocacy. She successfully ran the community-NGO-social worker coordination project in Beijing to become a competent member of the management team with social work service, project management and policy advocacy capabilities.
